What Does an Accountant, Radio Announcer, Janitor and the Lavender Mafia All Have in Common?

by Helen Tansey ©

Jack Abramoff’s “tell all” book “Capitol Punishment: The Hard Truth About Washington Corruption From America’s Most Notorious Lobbyist,” released today, and according to WND is a “tell all” expose that has the halls of Congress abuzz while also reverberating out to K Street and beyond. Abramoff’s book is being billed as a “lifting of the gossamer veil” of just how monstrously corrupt the entirety of the congressional club has become.

Politico’s MJ Lee reports that Abramoff recalled having “100 congressmen in his pocket” and the Washington Post details how Abramoff and his team of lobbyists were able to gain access and control over congressional staffers by suggesting they come and work for his firm – [Read more…]

No Holding Back From Larry Johnson, No Quarter blog, AND Jon Stewart on Herman Cain's Bumbling

Nothing but straight talk from Larry Johnson, No Quarter blog, on the Cain blubbering “DOUBLE UPDATE–GOOD GOD FOLKS!!! Inspired by Tamminator I’ve got to lay this out a little more clearly why Cain is acting like a clown and providing ample ammunition for the Dems to destroy him. If you walk into a bar in Tel Aviv wearing a shirt with the logo, “Kill the Jews” or “Hitler Had a Good Idea,” then you better bet your ass there will be a fight. If you walk onto the field of an NFL stadium during a game you should not be shocked if you get hit. And if you announce that you are going to run for President as the “straight talking, experienced businessman,” then you better be goddamn ready to be the STRAIGHT TALKING, EXPERIENCED BUSINESSMAN.” [Read more…]

"Human Rights" Groups and the Pretext for War in Syria

In this RT interview independent journalist, James Corbett, details the fact that on Monday, November 1, 2011 the Arab League brokered a deal with Bashar al-Assad, Syria’s President “easing the country’s long-running political crisis.” As Corbett reports “the agreement urges Damascus to immediately withdraw security forces from the streets, release jailed demonstrators, and start dialogue with the opposition. Syria also agreed to allow rights groups and Arab League watchdogs into the country. But the U.S. still says it wants to see President Assad resign” and suggests Syria’s geographical location as strategic to the US to launch an offensive into Iran. [Read more…]

The Murder of Muammar Gaddafi – GRTV Backgrounder

“The killing of Muammar Gaddafi at the hands of NATO-backed, Al Qaeda-linked forces marks the end of a campaign expressly aimed at the assassination of a head of state and overthrow of a sovereign country in direct violation of international standards that have held sway since the Nuremberg trials at the end of World War II and the establishment of the Geneva Conventions.”

And then there were reports like this one from the BBC where eyewitnesses saw Gaddafi’s convoy prominently showing “White Flags” a universally accepted principle of surrender. Now, ask yourself, why was Clinton in Libya on the very morning Gaddafi surrendered? Was Gaddafi led to believe he was surrendering to the US? Think about it.

Washington, DC – October 31, 2011 – Today Scientist Marco Kaltofen of Worchester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) presented his analysis of radioactive isotopic releases from the Fukushima accidents at the annual meeting of the American Public Health Association (APHA). Occupy Oakland – Rally & March 10/25/11

It’s the last minute of this video that is most disturbing…a tear gas canister hit a protester and when comrades went to help him the cops threw in a “flash bang grenade“. Not good. The Mayor should immediately tender her resignation for condoning this kind of violence. Whether pro or con no American citizen should be harmed for simply expressing their first amendment rights peacefully.
