When someone writes a letter that someone else chooses to report on the least the journalist can do is link the reader to the original letter. I don’t think this is asking too much. Then again, I am talking about the mainstream news outlets here. They seem hellbent on telling readers what is in the letter and its intent, rather than providing it to their readers so they can render their own damned opinions.
No where in Snowden’s letter does he even remotely suggest he wants to testify before congress let alone rallying the international community to place pressure on the feds to drop espionage charges. Talk about twisting words and meanings.
