UPDATE: “Four Nebraska Cops Fired After Caught on Camera Chasing Man into Home to Steal Camera while another three officers were placed on leave and an additional officer was reassigned, according to the Associated Press.

Omaha, NE – This has to be a record – 21 cops and 12 cruisers against one guy with a camera. What the 21 cops didn’t know was there was another guy/gal safely video recording the entire altercation from a window above.

Yep, another day and another sorry story about police brutality being caught on camera.

What started it all?

According to the individual who video recorded the scene, two young men, apparently neighbors, approached two cops to learn why their cars were being towed. As one of the men turned his back to the cop and toward his truck the cop put a choke hold on the guy and threw him to the ground. Once on the ground, the cop proceeded to beat the shit out of him.

The other fellow was escorted by the other cop to the sidewalk who promptly began to video record what the cops were doing to his neighbor. Both men at this point were repeatedly yelling “that’s bullshit,” “I know my rights,” “that’s abuse,” “he didn’t touch you all” and “get your knee off his neck.”

The guy who was escorted to the sidewalk continued to video record everything and when approached by the cop ran to a house just behind him. You can hear him saying “Excuse me, sir, but I don’t feel comfortable with you walking up on me” and goes onto say “Will you please keep your distance…”

The two cops apparently called for back up and once it arrived all 19 chased the guy who was video recording into the house. Within seconds, the video recorder is hauled out in handcuffs as well as the other fellow who got the shit beaten out of him.

That appears to be it. 13 cops, 12 cop cars, two cameras, one inquirer getting the shit beaten out of him while the one with the camera gets chased into his house where his wheel-chair bound aunt is pummeled to the ground and for what? Why do I get the feeling that all these two did was mouth something that pissed off the cops and being tough guys showed their ass?
