Amy Goodman, Democracy Now! interviews former Gitmo Prosecutor Air Force Colonel Morris Davis on this the tenth anniversary of the Bush policy of “indefinite detention” and the gulag known as Guantanamo Bay. Davis resigned in 2007 “in protest of what he called political interference” and then went to work for the Congressional Research Service. However, he was fired by the Obama Administration shortly after taking office because he penned an editorial opposing Obama’s continuation of the Bush policy for the Wall Street Journal. Yep, fired for daring to go on the record opposing this diabolical policy of “indefinite detention” and now, it’s LAW!!!
