On Saturday night, January 8, 2011, I was on the phone w/a friend around 6pmish EST when I came upon this article posted by the gawker blog, which showed the age and name of the shooter responsible for the tragedy earlier in the day in Tuscon. While on the phone, I clicked on my FaceBook page and cut and pasted his name from the gawker article to do a “Friend” search. The “Friend” search brought me to a list of names w/various spellings and photographs, but there was only ONE link that had the “gawker” article meeting the search criteria – “Jared Laughner” age 22 w/a pic and Pima Arizona as descriptors. I clicked on the link and here is what came up.

While on his FB page, I quickly wrote a post to others at another blog to capture a screenshot of which I could not do. Within seconds, folks clicked on the link I provided to his FB page to capture the screenshot, but they posted that they couldn’t get in. Whoever was constructing the page shut it down. Yet his page remained “open” on my screen. Knowing I could not capture a screen shot, I did the next best thing – “Ctrl A, copy, paste” – which is what is above. I then pasted the page at the same blog site I had requested others to capture a screenshot and saved it in my files here at the T-Room. I then closed out the page.
On Sunday January 9, 2011 after our power was restored (the grid went black around 7ish pm EST on January 8, 2011), I got back onto the pc and studied the FB page copy I had and began searching to see if other blogs may have captured a screenshot. Spending the better part of the day searching, I could not find anyone with anything related to what I found on his FB page.
It does not take an ast[e]roid physicist to figure out someone, heaven knows who, was constructing a FB account using the name “Jared Laughner” his age, 22, listing Pima County High School, planting the wrong “photo” and uploading the KKK snark vid, the Hegelian Dialect vids and friending Sarah Palin which ALL occurred sometime b/w 5:00 and 6:00 pm EST on the evening of January 8, 2011, nearly eight hours after he was in police custody. One should also note, these basic elements, minus the list of reading material, perfectly mirror Jared Lee Loughlin’s MySpace page and now his new FaceBook page.
My first question is who is this young man whose name is “Jared Laughner” age 22 and purporting to have attended the same high school “Jared Lee Loughner” went too?
It isn’t the photo of the young man “Jared Lee Loughner” that sat on the Drudge Report all day yesterday. That’s for sure.
So who is this kid in the first photo above? And why was his photo uploaded to this in “real time” constructed FB page? Is his name even “Jared Laughner?” Why was his FB page removed between 5:00 and 6:00 pm EST on January 8, 2011? And why did his FB page have the same exact “Loughner” YouTube video’s on it later discovered on his MySpace page [and] now on his newly created FaceBook page?
Second, why do I assert Laughner/Loughner’s FB page was being constructed in “real time” between 5:00 and 6:00 pm EST on January 8, 2011. Well, again, it doesn’t take any scientist to point out the obvious.
When one posts anything on their FB page a script below the post shows the “time” it was added. Recall, I was on the phone at 6pm EST, which is the time I also clicked on his FB page, why are all of the times showing below each upload – 48 minutes ago, 53 minutes ago, 55 minutes ago and 57 minutes ago respectively??? And why would this Jared Laughner’s FB page provide a link to “Jared Lee Loughner’s” YouTube account?
Clearly, someone was in the midst of creating this FB page on “Laughner” between the hours of 5:00 – 6:00 pm EST on January 8, 2011. Who was this individual(s)? And why? You can clearly see the only items uploaded are those very strange videos, a link to Jared Lee Loughner’s YT account AND his ONE AND ONLY friend – Sarah Palin. There was NOTHING more. No book list no nothing.
Knowing the first spelling of this man’s name was “Laughner” NOT “Loughner” which was corrected in later news accounts, matters not one iota to this odd story. Why? Well, all of the elements in “Loughner’s” MySpace page are present in the January 8, 2011 FB page that disappeared. The only element missing is the list of reading material. Otherwise, the two sites are nearly exact mirrors of each other.
Lastly, a special comment for whomever is behind the Facebook Caper. Note, before I clicked on this Jared Laughner’s Facebook page, I scrolled through the entire Facebook listing and none posted listed anyone living in Pima Arizona. There was only one that met the gawker criteria – “Jared Laughner” age 22 and Pima, Arizona. All other’s were either older, lived in other state’s and/or the spelling of the first and last names were very different from Laughner let alone Loughner. So I can’t speak to who is behind the current FaceBook page caper, but I know for a fact this “new” Facebook was not available between 5:00 and 6:00 pm EST on Januray 8, 2011.
