I Think She Knows

I think my Mother knows who dug her flowers up for bait,
And she knows I had detention… not try outs for the play.
About that indoor game of football,
“Galactic Ooze” under my bed,
The chocolate on her curtains,
And the BB peppered shed.
I think I should confess to these and other things,
For every night this week… she’s been serving lima beans.
